- April 5, 2006 - "Astonishing feedback from the Students at West Brook High School"
Representatives from the WiReD team consisting of Dr. Lui, Iris Beltran, and Bindiya Mansharamani visited West Brook High School on their Career Day held on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. Dr. Lui gave a perfect presentation on Computer Hardware Architecture. While Iris and Bindiya spoke about the WiReD program, robotics, and gave a demonstration with their robots. The robots really sparked the students interests, and they enjoyed playing with the remote control. Way to go WiReD!
- Ruth Allen joins the team of Industrial Mentors
Ruth Allen has joined our team of Industrial Mentors. Ms. Allen retired from Lockheed Martin in December, 2002. She will be a guest speaker at the March CS Women's meeting.
